Mr P. Dust, the Head of Science, decided in 2006 that it would be a good idea to run our own farm from Paget High School.

Mr D. Fleet, Science teacher, organised the purchase of 13 egg laying chickens and a hen house was built. The Farm has since grown in size to include two extra hen sheds. We now have another 30 egg laying chickens.

We invested in an incubator and managed to hatch 13 baby chicks of which 6 survived.

We have a rota of pupils who collect eggs, open and lock up the chickens on a daily basis, clean out their sheds and feed them.
